Case Studies

A deep dive into my creative process, from initial discovery and rough sketches to the final, polished deliverable.

Case 01

ARO+STAR

Brand Launch, Apparel & Ecommerce

Role

Co-Founder, Creative Director

The Challenge

Create a women-forward clothing brand from the ground up, including the name, identity, apparel graphics, packaging, ecommerce experience, and social presence.

Process

Strategy
Naming
Identity
Launch

The identity began with hand-drawn studies exploring strength, movement, confidence, and attitude. Those ideas developed into a flexible set of marks and graphics that could work across apparel, labels, packaging, digital storefronts, and social content.

Outcome

A complete brand built to show up with confidence across every customer touchpoint, from the first social post to the finished garment.

Case 02

C3 Nonprofit Consulting

Brand Identity, Website & Marketing Materials

Role

Art Director

Agency

Rule of 3

The Challenge

C3 needed a brand that conveyed both expertise and approachability, serious enough for their institutional clients, warm enough to build trust with nonprofits.

Process

Discovery
Concept
Design
Delivery

Explored circular mark concepts rooted in the idea of cyclical growth and collective impact. The teal palette was chosen for its balance of professionalism and warmth, then the new brand was translated into the website design and marketing materials.

Outcome

The new brand came together across the website design and marketing materials, establishing C3 as a trusted voice in the nonprofit sector with a consistent, approachable presence across every touchpoint.

Case 03

Kol Shofar

Brand Identity, Web Design & Collateral

Role

Creative Direction, Brand Identity, Web Design, Marketing Materials, Event Collateral

The Challenge

Kol Shofar, a synagogue in Tiburon, CA, needed a complete brand system that felt contemporary without losing its spiritual and cultural resonance, one that could stretch from a website to printed event programs to large-format signage.

Process

Discovery
Concept
Design
Delivery

Kol Shofar means “the sound of the shofar,” a musical horn. The logo grew from the Hebrew letters Koof and Shin, with the Shin forming the horn’s shape within the circular emblem. From there, the brand expanded into a website, marketing campaigns, and event collateral, all built on a consistent typographic and color foundation.

Outcome

A comprehensive identity system deployed across web, print, and events, launched to strong community reception and used consistently across every touchpoint since.

Case 04

Storyfield

Brand Identity

Role

Creative Director, Brand Strategist

The Challenge

Storyfield needed an identity that felt rooted, organic, and optimistic, a brand that communicated growth and storytelling through its visual language without resorting to cliché.

Process

Discovery
Concept
Design
Delivery

Dozens of logo mark explorations across geometric, typographic, and organic directions. The final mark, a bisected circle evoking both a leaf and a narrative arc, emerged from sketching the intersection of nature and story.

Outcome

A cohesive identity with a distinctive organic mark, earthy green palette, and typographic system that positioned Storyfield as credible, mission-driven, and distinctly its own.
